Igor Hristov is a Bulgarian architect with more than 20 years of architectural education and 10 years of professional experience. He successively graduated the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (diploma for master degree in Architecture) and Professional High-Schoîl of Construction and Architecture “Hristo Botev” (diploma for secondary professional education, Technician of Construction and Architecture) in Sofia. Later he defended his doctoral thesis at the Department of Industrial and Agricultural Buildings. Thesis and research publications of the dissertation: "Modernization, restoration and restructuring of industrial enterprises in terms of reconstruction and reorganization of industrial areas in Republic of Bulgaria". The main contribution of the dissertation thesis is the creation of a model for assessing the architectural potential for conversion of abandoned industrial buildings.
Architect Igor Hristov has more than 7 years teaching experience as a leading discipline "Industrial Buildings", "Informatics in Architecture" and "Architecture" to students in the UACEG. From 2017 he is a chief assist. prof. in the University.
From March 2010 is a member of the "Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria", with certificate and seal for full design capacity. Delegates in the 9th to 15th General Assembly of the Chamber. In 2016-2017 he served as "Chief Architect" of Dragoman Municipality, Sofia Province.
Before he co-founded and was appointed CEO of 080 Ltd. in early 2012 Igor Hristov has held many design, consulting and project management positions, as a principal, partner, free lance or employee of various leading design and investment companies. Work on design, consulting and project management of a wide range of buildings (administration and public buildings, high-rises, office and commercial facilities, industrial and logistics buildings, hotels and resort complexes, villas and residential buildings, sports facilities, urban planning, interiors, furniture design, etc.). He has participated individually or in teams in over 100 projects. Most of them are presented in the web site portfolio.
